Tamil Nadu Engineering College Students to travel abroad under FTTP Programme

Come July, 100 students from Anna University and Government Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu, for the first time, will fly to foreign universities for two weeks under the Foreign Technical Training Programme (FTTP) introduced by the late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa last year. In the first batch, 17 students, including 14 from mechanical and three from EEE are visiting Universitat Rovira I Virgili, Spain between July 12 and 27, 2017. Similarly, another 16 students are visiting the Yokohama National University, Japan between July 12 and 26. More than 60% of Americans who had attended college regretted at least one decision they made regarding the education, quoting a recent poll conducted by Gallup and Strada Education Network, a Cheetsheet.com report said. Almost 90,000 people quizzed for the poll agreed that they had second thoughts about the school they attended, the degree they obtained or the vocation they had chosen. Now, the question whether there is any mechanism to avoid this regret pops up and the answer lies in the fact that giving the students more information before they enrol would go a long way, says the report. The authors of the report on Gallup survey Results opined that the graduate student’s regret about their past decisions could be read as a signal to improve the resources available to inform future education decisions. The Delhi University has currently extended their deadline for their online registration for UG Courses in NCR based central  university. The DU (Delhi University) undergraduate registration for the merit based programmes will go live till tomorrow evening. The university has also decided to give a window for their online registration for the UG courses on the official website of Delhi University. According to a recent report, nearly 3 lakh number of candidates have said to be applied for their UG programmes with the Delhi University. The PTET Results for the year 2017 has been declared recently. The Maharshi Dayanand Saraswathi University has declared these Results .
