The DU Undergraduate Admission 2017: 3 Lakh candidates register: Registration deadline extends!

The Delhi University has currently extended their deadline for their online registration for UG Courses in NCR based central  university. The DU (Delhi University) undergraduate registration for the merit based programmes will go live till tomorrow evening. The university has also decided to give a window for their online registration for the UG courses on the official website of Delhi University. According to a recent report, nearly 3 lakh number of candidates have said to be applied for their UG programmes with the Delhi University.
The DU’s merit based undergraduate admission portal shall remain opened till June 13th of 2017, and shall close by 5 PM in the same date. The admission portal was said to be closed by today, yet, it has been extended by the university as they have decided to declare the very first cut off list by June 20th of 2017.
The Delhi University has now started the online registration process for the postgraduate or master courses, PhD and MPhil by today evening. The DU’s registration process for MPhil, PG and PhD shall go on until June 22nd of 2017.

The admission committee member, AshutoshBharadwaj said that they have currently extended the admission period till 5 PM this Tuesday, as the overall registration count kept on increasing till the last moment of submission of the admission forms. The committee thought of giving a chance for all the candidates, which Results in the extension of the last date for the admission process.
The BA (Bachelor of Arts) programme has now emerged as one among the popular course in Delhi Universities online registration as of now. Nearly 1,34,847 number of applications have been received for the BA programme alone. The English Honours and the BA Commerce have said to be received about 1,24,220 and 1,04975 application forms.
