The MHT CET final merit list has been announced: 2017

The DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) in Maharashtra published the last and final merit list on June 22nd of 2017. This merit list is for the MHT CET 2017, that shall be used for the admission at the engineering admissions within Maharashtra. The provisional merit list was released on June 19th of 2017. The students who are said to be qualified with the merit list of MHT CET 2017, shall now apply for their admission of first year Engineering and Technology and other B.Tech courses.

The candidates can check the final merit list by visiting the official web portal www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in.

More than thousands of candidates have said to be appeared for their engineering and pharmacy courses.

The process to check the MHT CET 2017 merit list online:
  • The candidates need to visit the official web portal www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in to check the merit list
  • From the home page, the students need to click upon the link that says MHT CET merit list
  • You will be redirected to a new page
  • The candidates need to enter down their application ID and their date of birth for confirmation purposes
  • The application ID can be found from the application form that you have been submitted earlier
  • After providing the required details, you need to click upon the Submit button
  • You will be redirected to the merit list page
  • You can see the merit list and even download them
  • Take a print out of the same for your future reference.
During the previous academic year, about fifty three students have said to score between 191 till 200 in the 200 mark exams. About three hundred and six numbers of students have scored between 181 till 190. Seven hundred and thirteen students have scored between 171 till 180 in the previous academic year.

New JNU hostel to allot 75% rooms to north-east students

A new hostel is going to come up on the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus in New Delhi, where 75 per cent of the rooms will be allotted to the students from the northeast, Union minister Jitendra Singh said on Monday. The announcement was made on July 24, 2017, by the Union Minister of State for the Development of North East India Jitendra Singh. He laid down the foundation stone for the new hostel that will be called Barak Hostel after the Barak River in the north-east. Although the construction of the hostel has been pending for up to three years, the minister said that the hostel will most likely be operational after 20 months. B.Tech admission 2018 at Naval Academy, Ezhimala

Indian Navy has invited applications from unmarried males, for admission to the  10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) four years degree course commencing in January 2018, at Indian Naval Academy at Ezhimala in Kannur district of Kerala.   Eligibility     Applicant should have been born between July 2, 1998 and January 1, 2001 (both dates inclusive) and should have passed senior secondary examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examination from any Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English in either in Class X or Class XII.
